It is difficult to imagine being recruited or abducted into an armed group when you were as young as eleven-years-old, forced to fight a war you did not understand, and often beaten or worked to exhaustion and threatened with death if you did not comply or tried to escape. Sadly, for many of these child soldiers, the peace process has not solved their problems. These children are discovering quickly that the return home can be even more painful than the experience of war.
